RUSSIA

Russia is the largest country in the world and  is hot pot of the east and the west.

In the 15th Century, Moscow became the Capital city of Russia.. Saint Petersburg is a very young city compared to old European capitals and, probably, the only city in the world that has acquired so much historic significance in such a short time.Kazan is the capital of the Tatarstan republic. It witnessed many important historical events. Kazan is a very interesting city from the architectural point of view. Visiting this huge country is a an experience of a life time.

SCHEDULE/ITINERARY:

Day 1

St.Petersburg.

Arrival to St.Petersburg.

Guided transfer to the Hotel.Overnight in St.Petersburg

Day 2

St. Petersburg

After a wholesome breakfast in our hotel we proceed to a  guided city tour of  St. Petersburg and its  many grand architectural edifices! 

Drenched in history, politics and the very curious communist culture our day will be very busy in a panoramic tour! Among the sights you will pass by and learn about are the The Nevsky Prospect, State Hermitage Museum, St. Isaac's Cathedral, Peter and Paul Fortress, the Admiralty, Fine Arts Square, Church of Resurrection on Spilled Blood, Smolny Cathedral, Bronze Horseman followed by a visit to the  Kazan Cathedral and a idyllic cruise on river Neva river. Followed by Dinner.

Day 3

St. Petersburg - Moscow

Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet the guide, departure to the program. Guided transfer to Railway station. Board Train to Moscow. Arrival at Moscow and guided transfer to Hotel. Check in and Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Moscow

Moscow City tour:- We are guided to the cities historic and photo friendly monuments  and you are free to ask all your questions about Russia while you visit Lenin's Tomb, St. Basil's Cathedral, Red Square, Sparrow Hills, Moscow State University, Victory Park, Christ the Saviour Cathedral on a panoramic tour.

After a brief Shopping stop at GUM we proceed to Red square  plus enjoy a Moscow Metro tour.

Day 5

Moscow

Post a huge Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet with the guide,Today we will visit the Kremlin. Post Kremlin visit  we will have a short shopping stop.The day ends with Dinner and some rest.

Day 6

Moscow-Kazan

Today we give you some quality Mee Time for shopping, strolling, lunch etc on your own in Moscow. Explore on foot or enjoy a lazy lunch or pick up some souvenirs for folks and remembrance.Post dinner we hop on to the Sapsan for a overnight journey to Kazan. Located on the banks of the Volga River Since 1438 the city was the capital of Kazan Khanate, and in 1552 it was conquered by Russian tsar Ivan the Terrible. Nowadays Kazan is the capital of the Tatarstan republic!

Day 7

Kazan

The capital of the Tatarstan republic. Kazan  had a 1000 years anniversary in 2005! It is one the most extraordinary cities of the country. Kazan has unique ability of blending two different styles: antiquity and modernity. Asia and Europe, Islam and Orthodoxy.Russian and Tatar cultures do not confront but merge in this beautiful city.

Today we will enjoy a city tour of kazan.

We will also take a  Kazan Arabat walking tour.

Day 8

Kazan - Home

Checkout and transfer to the Kazan airport.

Board your flight from Kazan for your home country or fly to neighbour Armenia for a complete Armenia+Georgia+Baku sojourn.
