Georgian Package

Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia  at the Eastern part of the country in the Trialeti mountain range. It was founded in the 5th century by King Vakhtang Gorgasali. The superb Old Town shows off its roots as an ancient crossroad between Europe and Asia, with its narrow   streets, handsome religious buildings, traditional balconied houses and caravanserais.

Day 1

  • Arrival at Tbilisi international airport
  • Meeting and transfer to the hotel in Tbilisi (30 minute drive)
  • Check into the hotel (check in until 15:00 pm. is upon availability)
  • Free time
  •  Overnight

Day 2

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • 12:00 pm. Excursion for Old Tbilisi tour ( duration 2-3 hours)

During the tour you will visit:

Metekhi Church The heroic King VakhtangGorgasali commissioned the building of the inscribed-cross church in the 5th century. It is dramatically located on the cliff overlooking the Mtkvari River.

Narikala Fortress Cable car will take you to the top of mountain to the old ruins of Narikala  fortress, enjoy the panorama of the city;

Chardin Street is one of the oldest streets of Tbilisi. Now this is a favorite meeting place for its fancy cafes and clubs, little art salons and galleries. The street got this name in honor of the famous French artist, Jean-Baptiste-Simeon Chardin.

Old Baths A touch of Old Tbilisi – the Sulfur Baths, built in 17th century, have subterranean pavilions topped by unique the red brick domes with steam from the hot springs streaming from their tops, giving a magical atmosphere to this historic area of old homes and interesting shops.

Day 3

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00am. Transfer to Kazbegi (3 hour drive)
  • On the way Visiting Ananuri Fortress built in medieval centuries overlooking  the Zhinvali water reservoir ( 20 minutes)
  • Continue way to Kazbegi
  • 4x4 Transfer to Gergeti temple
  • Go up to the  top of high mountain(duration 2 hour)
  • Trip to Dariali Gorge and Gveleti Waterfalls  (3 hours)
  • Transfer back to Tbilisi
  • Back to the hotel
  • Overnight

 Day 4

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • 10:00 am. Transfer to Kakheti-Sighnaghi (2 hour drive)
  • 12:00 am. Visiting Sighnaghi
  • Sighnaghi -  City of Love (duration 1 hour)
  • Sighnaghi is a center of Georgian wine making technology. It is one of the most visited destinations in Georgia.  Sighnaghi is famous for handmade carpets , traditional food and Georgian famous hospitality
  • 14:30 pm. Visiting Bodbe – the burial place of St. Nino the enlightener of Georgians, having enormous meaning for the country
  • Upon a wish visit wine cellar “Khareba” – participate in culinary activities such as: bread baking and churchkhela making
  • Wine tasting extra  for an cost
  • Transfer back to the hotel
  • Overnight

 Day 5

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • 11:00 am. Check out and transfer to the hotel in Bakuriani (3 hour drive)
  • Check in to the hotel in Bakuriani
  • Free Time to relax
